Wordy FAQs
Q. What do we talk about on the deep-dive call?
A. On our deep-dive call, we discuss your project needs and see if we are a good fit. I will then give you a quote for your project based on what we have discussed in this call.
Q. I have had my deep-dive call with you, and now I would like to go ahead and work with you on my project. What happens next?
A. Great! Now I will set up a time to go over a creative brief call with you. On this call, I will ask you a series of questions that will really help me understand your business and what it stands for, as well as your products and services.
Q. How many questions do you ask me during the project brief?
A. I will ask you at least 80+ in-depth questions, so I know the ins and outs, and everything in between of who you are, what your business stands for, and why your business is so hot dang awesome (which, it REALLY is). In fact, this will help me understand your business SO much, that it will essentially become MY business while I write. #TrueStory #LoveYourBizBabe
Q. Why do you need to ask me so many questions? Can you just write the project yourself?
A. Sure I could, however asking these questions helps me really nail the message and tone that you want me to articulate in your copy the first time. Because no one knows your brand and products like you do. Plus, it will also help me keep the project timings as lean as possible to stay within your budget.
Q. What if I don't know the answers to all of the questions?
A. You may not know all of the answers, and that's totally fine. We can workshop and find the answers most suited to your business together.
Q. I want a series of blog posts completed, not just one. Do you offer discounts for bulk packages?
A. Yes, I certainly do! I offer discounts for buying projects in blocks of 5 or 10. Contact me today to discuss your needs.
Q. I can't afford full copywriting on my website. Are there any cheaper options that we can discuss?
A. Yes, definitely. If needed, I can break your website copywriting project down into chunks, or mini projects, so we can concentrate on what is needed most urgently. Then we can work on the rest of your website as you feel ready. I do also offer payment plans if needed.
Q. How long does a project with you usually take?
A. This question really depends on the project requirements. Contact me to discuss your project needs today.
Q. If I want changes to the copy you have submitted me, is that included in the price?
A. Yes, I offer two rounds of revisions after the first draft is submitted to you, and this is included in the price.
Q. I also need help from a web developer and a graphic designer. Are you able to help here?
A. Although I don't offer those services myself, I have a list of trusted service providers who will be able to help that I would be happy to recommend.
Q. Can I split my payment for the project?
A. For projects under $350, I request payment upfront before work can commence.
For projects over $350, I request a 50% deposit to be paid upfront and the balance 50% to be paid upon submission of the first draft for your review.
However, I am happy to discuss payment plans to suit every situation so we can move forward together.
Q. How do you accept payment?
I accept payment via bank transfer. All details will be provided to you on the invoice for the project.
Q. Do you conduct face to face meetings?
A. All briefing is conducted over the phone, however, if you would prefer to talk face to face, then a zoom/skype call can be arranged.
Q. Can you provide me with a personalised training session on writing better copy myself?
A. I am currently putting together training programs. So watch this space!
Q. Why should I choose you?
A. I have worked in the sales and marketing industry for over 12 years. I have considerable experience in selling new products into global licensed brands and fashion labels across the globe and with my assistance, a number of these brands saw an increase in sales by up to 120% year on year.
I also have over 8 years of experience in blog writing and social media content creation, therefore I am knowledgable, experienced, and quite frankly very bloody good at what I do.
Oh, and ps. I have a wicked sense of humour, love cracking jokes, and believe that kindness and positivity rules.
Just so you know.
